Este es el segundo año consecutivo en el que se realiza esta iniciativa, que reúne a distintos actores con la finalidad de ayudar a quienes más lo necesitan. Los percheros están habilitados en puntos estratégicos de Talca y Curicó.
Esta mañana se realizó el lanzamiento de la campaña solidaria “Mi abrigo, es tu abrigo” en Extensión UCM, iniciativa que se realiza por segundo año consecutivo en Talca y Curicó. La actividad, contó con la presencia del rector de la Universidad Católica del Maule, Dr. Diego Durán Rojas y el seremi de Desarrollo Social y Familia, Juan Eduardo Prieto, quienes en compañía de autoridades universitarias y representantes de la Fundación Crate, dieron el vamos a esta cruzada solidaria.
“Esta es una posibilidad completa de poder decir: aquello que me sirve a mí, también le puede servir a los demás, por eso “Mi abrigo, es tu abrigo”, es una campaña que permite lograr un espacio de solidaridad en la región”, expresó el
Doctor Durán.
La campaña -que se extenderá por dos meses- tendrá puntos estratégicos de acopio en estas dos ciudades, donde las personas podrán dejar su aporte, o bien, tomar lo que necesiten.
En este contexto, el seremi de Desarrollo Social y Familia, agradeció a la Universidad Católica del Maule por “esta iniciativa, que se enmarca dentro del compromiso país, donde una de las medidas es el trabajo con las personas en
situación de calle; y es un acuerdo que asumió el mismo rector, hace unos meses, con el Ministro Alfredo Moreno. Y hoy estamos viendo una medida concreta”.
¿Cómo puedo ayudar?
«Si tienes frío tómalo, es tuyo. Si quieres ayudar, déjalo». Es la frase que leerás en los carteles dispuestos en 5 puntos de la ciudad, donde se invita a las personas a hacerle frente al frío, de forma solidaria, a través de la donación de ropa abrigada en buen estado.
Los puntos de entrega en Talca estarán en el Campus San Miguel de la Universidad Católica del Maule, específicamente en su edificio de Aprendizaje Autónomo y en las afueras de la capilla de la casa de estudios. Además, en el centro de la ciudad, Extensión UCM -ubicado en 3 Norte 650- habilitará un espacio para quienes quieran colaborar con esta cruzada solidaria. Se suman dos puntos más correspondientes al CFT San Agustín en 5 poniente 1225 y la Fundación Crate, ubicada en 2 poniente 1338.
Por su parte, Curicó tendrá como punto de acopio la Pastoral Universitaria, cuya oficina se encuentra en Edificio Carmen 684.
La idea es que la gente se motive a donar abrigo para aquellas personas que no tienen el dinero para comprarlo, para personas en situación de calle que están expuestos a temperaturas extremas y también, para cualquier persona que se encuentre en la calle desabrigada, con mucho frío, sin tener la posibilidad de arroparse de inmediato.
